Today we welcomed author of Spylark, Danny Rurlander to Trinity school. Danny spent the morning meeting Y7 and 8 students and signing copies of his new book.
Our afternoon celebration for student librarians, book club members, top borrowers and AR stars! It included a presentation by Jane McFie from Cumbria SLS to Sam - who was voted their Pupil Librarian of the Year!
We were so excited to welcome Sophie Anderson (author of The house with chicken legs) to the library this morning. Sophie met students at break time and signed books and then did a lesson with 2 groups of Y7 students - lots of fun for everyone and we found out all about her inspiration for the book.
