Sandra Glover visited the library today to run writing workshops with groups of students. Sandra taught students the techniques for writing suspense and read sections from some of her books.  She chatted with students at lunchtime and some bought copies of her books.  We have many of Sandra's books on display in the library - pop in and borrow some!

A new display in the Carliol Library outlines the latest about the controversial area of Paraspsychology. There is also a display about Body Language.

The Chapman Library has been closed since Monday due to flooding from a burst pipe. Apologies to everyone for the closure and normal sevice will be resumed as soon as is possible. Water flowed under the door and the floor in the office and out into the library. Front desk has been removed to dry out! Looking from the office to the front desk. All the carpet is removed from the library. Library floor drying out.

The Christmas theme in the library this year is "A Christmas Carol"! You can read the story on our displays or pick up a book about Charles Dickens and Victorian Christmas.
