Our afternoon celebration for student librarians, book club members, top borrowers and AR stars! It included a presentation by Jane McFie from Cumbria SLS to Sam - who was voted their Pupil Librarian of the Year!

We have put up our new displays and bunting to celebrate World Book Day next Thursday.

We've got a new football display with lots of fiction and non-fiction football related books.  Read about Messi and Ronaldo or get lost in a Tom Palmer Football Academy story.  We've got something for everyone!  Also the latest scores, details of matches and pull-outs from magazines and newspapers are available. Enter our two competions - Who's been caught reading about football? and Fanatical Fans.  Details are in the library.

Pink excitement hit the Chapman Library today as we welcomed Cathy Cassidy for a brief visit!  Nearly a hundred students packed the library to meet Cathy this lunchtime.  Lots of books were sold and everyone got them signed by Cathy. Everyone waits patiently for Cathy to arrive! Cathy talked for a bit about her books Veronika, Gemma and Mia with their new Sweet Honey books.  Cathy made sure she signed everyone's books. 

 We've got a whole selection of football books to read!  This includes World Cup 2014 books, books about Messi and Ronaldo as well as new books in the Football Academy series by Tom Palmer.  

Top author Cathy Cassidy will be visiting Trinity Library during lunchtime on Monday 9th June.  We are all very excited about this event.  Watch this blog for more information to follow soon.
